Since there are many parks in Tokyo with many attractions and areas that are difficult to force into one channel, Tokyo Park is our own creation. We have used images from part of one of the Tokyo parks to create what the majority of us see as a park: green trees, grass and plenty of places to hang out and talk. So no, there are no real websites for this place, and the only things that exist in this park are what it written here on this page.

The park is a round edged square, bordered on all sides by trees with a large lake in the center. The only official entrance to the park is through a enormous arch. No vehicles are allowed inside; there is a very small parking area just outside the arch. There is a wide concrete path that runs through the park and around the lake. In the middle of a lake is a tiny island, only about 15' wide. It is connected to the rest of the park by a very narrow, single person bridge with rails on one side, and a decorative path of stones on the other. Very large koi swim in the lake, and the entire park is densely packed with flowers, trees and other interesting landscaping. The park is most famous for its hundreds of Japanese cherry trees, known as Sakura, a local favorite for their gorgeous pink or white blooms that fall in the spring in showers of delicate petals.

There are many little hidey-holes in the park: under a tree here, behind a statue there; tiny waterfalls and rock gardens decorate the banks of the lake. Please use your discretion cautiously. The only benches or seating of any sort are limited to a very few simple stone benches around the lake. There are no buildings, bathrooms or structures of any kind in the actual park, but some from the city can been seen peeking through the trees.
