Dramatically perched on the 42nd floor of the Park Hyatt with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a spectacular open kitchen is the dynamic New York bar. Here the cosmopolitan spirit of the 'City of Tastes from around the World' is celebrated in food, music and art. Voted number one in the 'Most Popular Restaurants' in the Zagat Survey: 2003 Tokyo Restaurants for five consecutive years, and voted 'One of the ten best hotel restaurants of the world' by Hotels magazine, the restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views.

One of the city's foremost see-and-be-seen venues, this is where Tokyoites gather for prime steaks, fresh buffalo burrata with Kochi tomatoes and grilled specialties from the sea, accompanied by vintages from a list composed entirely of American wines. Specialities include the Chef's daily Kobe beef selection and Wisconsin duck roasted to perfection from the rotisserie.

235 metres above the city lights, is this stunning bar, featuring live jazz by top American artists every night. This major landmark on the Tokyo skyline is the city's hottest venue. The décor is simple, the energy enormous. In contrast to the black ebony chairs, ebonised walnut flooring and the rugged steel supports of the floor-to-ceiling windows, are the artist Valerio Adami's huge murals of Radio City Music Hall and the Rainbow Room in bold, fluid colors.

The New York Bar offers vintage cognac and brandy, classic and original cocktails, and the largest selection of Californian wines in Japan. The barmen are ready to serve almost any drink; if they don't know the recipe for your favorite, they will mix it according to your directions. They have more than 40 liqueurs, 15 cognacs and a huge variety of whiskies, gins, rums and tequilas from which you may choose. In addition, the informal dining menu has something for everybody and won't leave you hungry.
