Ordo Dracul in New York
The Ordo Dracul have domain in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The Ordo Dracul has focused on Gravesend, Brooklyn, because historically there were many uncontested Wyrm's Nests in this area. They have slowly died off or been taken by others, or the lines have moved, but by that time mobility was much more difficult. While many Ordo scholars tend to gravitate to universities and libraries, the Covenant's leaders own a few brownstones in the area of the original town of Gravesend, near Gravesend Cemetery. There are only a few known Wyrm's Nests, as the lines have moved recently and have yet to be remapped. The Ordo has noted that the lines have moved more in the last decade than in the previous century. They don't see an end to this, and in fact it might be accelerating.
Leadership
The Kogaion of New York City is Taduz, a Mekhet Sworn of Mysteries, who has had the position since 1952, when the last one was destroyed by... something... that emerged from a new-found Wyrm's Nest. Embraced in 1850, Taduz changed his name and identity upon taking the position, in hopes of avoiding sympathetic magic. Taduz also is known to have an obsession with divination, performing some form of fortune-telling after rising each night. The acceleration of movement with the lines, however, disturbs him, and is causing no small amount of turmoil in the Covenant as a whole.
Less than 1/6 of the city's Dragons are Sworn, and those who are constantly bicker about who is in charge. Leadership of the three branches of Sworn changes often, sometimes as often as monthly, but usually no sooner than every six months or so.
Relations
Carthians
Socialists who do not understand the true nature of Kindred.
Circle of the Crone
Misguided pagans, nothing more. Occasionally they have useful abilities, but they claim power comes from a non-existent goddess rather than from within.
Invictus
Spiritually hollow, but temporal power seems to occasionally make up for it.
Lancea Sanctum
Too focused on order and structure instead of personal improvement.
Unaligned
Beneath notice, but there are occasional stand-outs.
