Malkovians in Tokyo
(coming soon)

Further Information

Nickname: To those rare non-Ventrue who know about them they're nicknamed Lunatics. Among Ventrue (when mentioned at all), they are referred to as 'our most charming cousins' or 'the escapees'.

Covenant: A fair majority of Malkovians pretend to be something else (usually Ventrue, so they favour whatever covenant that makes the most sense for their assumed identities. Many, if not most, belong to the Invictus. The Lancea Sanctum appeals to the obsessives and vision-seers. Those wishing to join the Circle of the Crone or Ordo Dracul are usually marginalised during the initiation process. It's likely that more and more will show up in the ranks of the Carthians and unaligned.

Appearance: Malkovians with enough self command to recognise what they are go out of their way to appear as anything but. Clothes may be fastidious, well coordinated, and even suspiciously pristine. Some, however, are too preocupied with other matters.

Weakness: Malkovians suffer the Ventrue clan weakness as normal. In addition, all must take a core derangement that cannot ever be cured, reduced in severity, or bought off - though it can become more severe. In addition to this, the derangement is 'set off' or aggravated whenever a discipline roll is anything other than a normal success. In the case of a dramatic failure, the derangement is upgraded to the more severe version for the rest of the night (with some storyteller discretion allowed).
