Character Background

Ito Keiko was born on 2 February 1921 in Tokyo City in the ward of Kanda (now Chiyoda). Her family were wealthy club owners who dabbled in some illegal activities such as gambling and prostitution. They continued this through World War II, owning and operating many brothels for the Japanese Army.

Keiko was embraced on 13 July 1956 by Nagauji, a weak Mekhet vampire of the Circle of the Crone. Her sire trained her in the ways of being a vampire, and inducted her into the Circle as well.

Keiko was a strong member of the Circle for many years, including after Sakura's return to the city and eventually her return to power.

Keiko was made Primogen to Sakura in 1995 as the youngest member of the Primogen. She continually advises Sakura, and always supports her publicly.

Keiko has a few childer, most released now and on their own in the city. She currently has one unreleased childer, Suzuki Reina, who occasionally comes with her for Court wearing all black. She also has a ghoul, Ito Yoshe, who seems to always be nearby.

Keiko manages and funds many shelters for abused women throughout Tokyo, and continually seeks to protect women who are in need of help.

Keiko disappeared sometime in early 2007, to remain missing for many months. After a long period of searching, she was found but with no real memory of what happened to her, and no feasible way of finding out. However, this does not seem to bother her, and she has fully returned to her duties as advisor to the Shogun.

Keiko holds domain in Musashino ((in City Domain 3)).

Character Description

Keiko is a Japanese woman in her mid-30s but looks younger. She has long black hair that she keeps up in a bun at the back of her head with two chopsticks. She wears designer jeans and tops, with typical American sneakers on her feet. ( Presence 4, Obfuscate 2, City Status 4 )
