Character Description

Jessica is a very attractive, shapely, young teen of about 5'1" tall & 90lbs. She has blonde hair hanging loosely around her face, curled today and sweet, but mischievous green eyes. Her voice is a bit childish and has a very southern/creole accent to it. She is often seen wearing her school uniform: a blue plaid catholic school uniform with white knee socks or simply dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt. (Striking Looks 4, Presence 3)

Character Background

Jessica, Jessie to her friends, was born to a 13 year old mother and a 35 year old father. On the day she was born her father and mother were in a serious car accident. Her father did not survive. Her mother was so bereft she allowed her parents to talk her into letting Jessica be put up for adoption.

Jessica was adopted by Suzette and Jacob Dautry, a young baptist couple, who found religion very important. Suzette could not have children of her own, so they adopted 5 children of different ages, Jessica was their first baby and they were very excited about it. By the time Jessica was 6 she was already showing signs of her psychic abilities. Jacob and Suzette spoken to their minister and he determined it was an attachment that Jessica had. The spent the next 6 years of her life trying to convince her that her powers were evil and must be denied.

Jessica rebelled seriously from her parents, their overly religious views spread to everything about her life. She was not allowed to wear anything other than very long, plain dresses, no make up, jewelry, or boys. She was very shy because of this, it made her look different in school. She didn't like being treated differently and she was very attracted to boys that she couldn't see. She was also told her mother was a whore, who never wanted her, in hopes of keeping her from doing something stupid like running away to find her. Jessica managed to get grounded at least once a month, arguing with her parents over whatever the latest limit was. [DELETED INFORMATION]

In January of 2004 at the age of 12 Jessica was vastly surprised by a phone call from a woman, Madison, claiming to be her mother. She went to talk to her and found out she was indeed her mother. Shocking as it was the woman was a famous author. She explained what really happened after Jessie was born. Madison wanted Jessie to come home with her, and Jessie would have agreed, but Madison wanted what was best for her. She asked Jessie to spend a week thinking over the decision.

A few days later another incident happened. Jacob found out that Jessie had met Madison and flipped out, grounding her. He talked about sending her away to school where she couldn't be found, and Jessie lost her temper, as she often did. She focused her hatred away from her father. [DELETED INFORMATION]

She was so frightened by what had happened she backed herself into a corner and watched helplessly. Afterwards her father was so angry he said horrible things to her, calling her a freak and saying she had let this happen. He told her she could control this horrible thing inside of her but she chose to let it out. Jessica cried terribly, but it didn't stop him from laying into her. Suzette finally pulled Jacob away to try and calm him down. Jessica took that chance to run.

She found her way to Feuer and held on tight. He was the first person who was really kind to her. This caused her to not only develop an intense crush, but also to become very attached to him. He helped her get back with her mother, but she really came to Nashville because of him more than anything else. [DELETED INFORMATION]

After moving to Nashville, Jessica missed her family in New Orleans terribly. For a the first year, she lived alone with Madison and hated it. She was so unhappy she spent night after night out to 3 o'clock in the morning. Madison and Ben constantly had to track her down. Because of these problems, she started missing school. Eventually she had missed so many days she was forced to repeat the school year.

In fall of 2006 at the age of 14, Jessica and her family moved to Tokyo where Jessica began attending ISSH. Since then she has delved deeper into learning about Catholicism and developing a stronger connection to God.
