ISSH/Attendance

From OSWIKI

Jump to: navigation, search

The official attendance policy for ISSH is up to ten days of absences are permitted per semester without a doctor's note. The only exceptions to this are religious holidays or a death in the family. Other extenuating circumstances will be considered, but random call in absences are limited to ten.

If the ten absences are exceeded without a doctor's note, or other approved extenuating circumstances the student will go up to the school review board. They will review the case and determine if there was an overall extenuating circumstance that caused the absences. If they decide the absences were not extenuating, the student will fail the semester and be forced to repeat it during summer school.
