Q: How do I make a new page?
- A: The easiest way is to go to an existing page, then at the top of your browser in the address bar, delete the name of the file, and type in the new name.
- Example: Take a link like: http://original-sin.net/wiki/index.php/bob and delete bob, then type in sue, like this: http://original-sin.net/wiki/index.php/sue. Hit enter and you have made a new page.
Q: How do I make a link?
- A: Simply type the name of the link in brackets. Keep in mind the titles of pages are case sensitive.
- Example: [[Tokyo]]
Q: How do I make it known an article is a stub, and other people should feel free to edit it?
- A: Simply type {{stub}} at the bottom of the page, and the stub box will appear.
Q: How do I edit a page?
- A: First, you must be logged in to edit or add pages. Once logged in got to the top of the page you want to edit and click the edit tab.
Q: Why can't I edit a page?
- A: You must be logged in to edit or add pages. If you are logged in the page may be protected from change.
Q: How do I protect my page from being edited?
- A: Go to the top of the page and click on the protect tab. It will bring up a page that will ask you who you want the page protected from. Choose an option and fill in a reason, then click save.
