Character Description
Azrael is a well built man standing at 6'2" and 190lbs. His descent is obviously Egyptian and he speaks with a clean English accent. He has a dark olive skin tone, short dark brown hair with hints of grey, chestnut-brown eyes and ever present light facial hair. He wears a blue-grey armani suit, with a blue and white striped shirt, no tie. (Presence 4, Obfuscate 2)

Character Background
1905
Azrael was born in Wales. He was ghouled early on and spent many years in the service of Aisling, his Regnant.

1930
Azrael had proven himself a very useful ghoul, with a great deal of intelligence and skill at masquerading at anything needed. Aisling chose to embrace him as both a reward to a faithful ghoul, but also as a test to prove himself a useful childe. Azrael knew his new role was not guaranteed; a useless childe was not allowed to live in Aisling's house. Azrael took to his new role seamlessly, filling in where his older siblings had lost interest, making himself seem the most useful of them all. Aisling continued to test Azrael sending him on mission after mission.
1955
He shocked his sire by time after time succeeding in these missions. It only encouraged Aisling to make them more severe and farther from home. He began only making it out by the skin of his teeth and his success rate dropped. Years passed and eventually the missions stopped coming and his contact with his sire faded. The last the young Kindred knew of his sire was that he had taken role as the Hierophant in New York.
1975
Drifting to where he knew his sire would be, Azrael settled down in Staten Island and made a name for himself. The Acolytes seemed to come and go one by one, never a stable home in the city, but he stayed back from the politics awaiting his sire to call him or send a new mission from him sire. Eventually that day came.
1985
Azrael was called by his sire to help his blood sibling. He jumped at the chance to prove himself in Aisling's eyes.
1990
Azrael stepped in Covenant politics like a hefty force. After spending 3 years in protection of the city and watching death after death, Azrael was losing interest in this never ending task. He prepared to move on to another city, but before he could go, a group of young acolytes asked him to stay and help to take over the spot as Hierophant. Azrael spoke to his sire, and Aisling explained he was long overdue to return home. He promised to help Azrael into the role before he left, but he would send him on one last mission to prove himself. ( more... )
