Arisa had a relatively normal childhood; her mother was a Uratha who was busy with own duties so Arisa was given to her mother's cousins to raise. She grew up normally with the exception of some minor temper issues and a few too many fights in school. By the time she was 14 she had found meditation and yoga as a way to control her temper.
In order to shield Arisa from the life of Uratha she was told nothing about them. Her family was also unenlightened. Her mother kept tabs on Arisa throughout her life, watching from afar or coming in to visit on holidays as nothing more than a cousin. One day those visits stopped and Arisa received a package in the mail. It was a small box of things that have belonged to her mother, including a crystal necklace and a few letters explaining how she had been adopted and what her mother really had been. The box was not from her mother, but instead from her mother's pack.
Arisa was so upset about being lied to for so long, she made her way out into the world very young. She was barely fifteen, and she soon saw the sights of strange people following her, taking more and more interest in her. Alone and hungry Arisa went with one of these people. He fed her, and gave her a room to stay in.

One day Arisa smelled an awful scent coming from the basement. When she went to check on it, she found a large freezer had broken down and its contents had gone bad. She opened it in preparation to throw out the spoiled meat to find the bodies of three teenage girls. She lost it and tried to escape in every way possible. The man finally had to tie her down to keep her there. She thought she was doomed to the same fate. That's when the dreams began, night terrors was more accurate. She dreamed every night of the man, what he had done and of herself killing him, tearing the flesh from his body and eating it. She dreamt of running in the open, of freedom, and of the moon. She longed so much to see the moon and the stars again. More than anything, she dreamed of fixing this situation, somehow bringing back these tortured girls to return them to their lives unharmed.
When the first change came she found herself shifting uncontrollably back and forth between human and wolf form. The smaller wolf form allowed her to escape her bonds. Soon she made her way back to the basement and dug at the dirt floor exposing the newly buried bodies. He had killed a total of 6 girls, by the time her first change was over she had torn the house apart, trying to somehow right the wrongs he had done. When she awoke she found herself naked, snuggled up in the bodies of three other wolves in a small wooded wildlife preserve. Shocked and frightened by her short loss of memory the wolves around her began to change. They were a young pack, none of them out of their teens. They had smelled the horror of the house the way she had torn apart and came to see it. They had taken her sleeping, exhausted body out to the place they had been staying. Soon the young pack began to teach her about being a werewolf and eventually two of the pack members helped her join their tribe: Hunters in Darkness.
Arisa's initiation was to track her way back to this man's home in wolf form so that her pack may scout it out and prepare to destroy it. All in hopes of spreading the spirits that may have attached to it. As soon as she accomplished this feat she was returned and went through the Rite of Initiation.
In a horrible coincidence, the next day when they returned, a pack of Pure had taken residence in the man's home the night before, attracted by the pain and murder spirits who had collected around it. The older pack made quick work of the young Forsaken. Only Arisa had survived because she had been asked to stay back from what was happening to protect her, as she was still very young. She watched in horror as her pack mates were torn apart before she could even think of intervening. She ran as fast and hard as she could.
A few months passed and Arisa was too frightened of the pure to look for other uratha. She found a simple job, and a single one room apartment, and has been hiding since then.
Character Description
Arisa is a young, attractive girl in her mid to late teens. She has shoulder length hair with red highlights, light hazel-brown eyes and a nicely shaped body. She stands at 5'1" and weighs just a bit over 100lbs. She is wearing a purple sweater, jean skirt, a knee length coat and black sneakers. (Presence 3, Primal Urge 1)
