Description

Allen is a 16 year old teen, 5' 6" with sandy blonde hair, blue eyes, tall and slender. He is usually wearing name brand clothing. At school his hair is neatly combed, but at night he usually messes up his hair for a grunge effect. He wears a frog necklace around his neck for good luck. Character Background

Allen has lived in New York City all of his life. He is use to the people, the noise, and the excitement. He has always excelled in school and has been known as “the teacher’s pet” and/or the smartest boy in his class.

Allen’s father Jonathan Parrish is a CEO for a well-known computer company. Allen has lived the life of luxury all his life. All was going well until Allen started high school. He started hanging out with the wrong crowds and got in trouble for skipping classes a few times. He would also sneak out late at night to meet up with his new friends.

One night Allen was brought home by 2 police officers for breaking curfew and for smelling of marijuana. Allen and his father had a yelling match and his father won, sending him to the ISSH school in Tokyo. Allen’s father travels back and forth from Tokyo to the States so he could arrange to meet Allen whenever he was in town. His father also has frozen his accounts and only gives Allen $500 a month to live on as to teach him the value of money.

Allen enjoys playing basketball, baseball, and chess. He enjoys swimming, playing video games, eating junk food, and hanging out with his friends. So far, while in Tokyo Allen hasn't made too many friends yet. He usually doesn't have a lot of friends, but the ones he does have, he's really close and loyal to. He likes to play by the rules most of the time. He is just now discovering that breaking some of the rules can actually be quite fun sometimes.

Fall 2008

Allen fell in love with Sara McAllister at the ending of his sophomore year at ISSH. However on November 9, 2008 Allen broke up with Sara to allow her and Devin to pursue a life of happiness together. Allen had feelings for Ginko Sato and asked if they could be a couple. Days later, Ginko was killed on the beach by what was described as a wild animal. Allen thinks otherwise. With Sara no longer in his life, Ginko dead, and him not being able to really trust anyone anymore, Allen fell into a pit of despair and sadness. He finds it difficult to do his daily assignments, to concentrate in class, and to even get out of bed in the mornings. Allen feels cut off from everyone and dead and emotionless inside. Thoughts of suicide have re-entered his mind as he continues to live in a world without Ginko or Sara.

December 2008

Allen has found comfort in his new friends from school. Fuu, a sophomore in his theater class has been very supportive towards him, along with Rain, Julien, Jessie, and Anton. Allen and Sara have decided that they make better friends than lovers and both have declaired each other as their best friend. Allen also has a new respect for Devin, Maya and Noah. Allen is attractived to Fuu and would like to start going out with her exclusively.

Allen has recently been aware of not only werewolves but also vampires in the area. He keeps that knowledge to himself and fears Amanda, who he thinks can control him with just a single word.

• Allen seems to be in a positive and energetic mood. He is more socialable now, and pals around with the guys on the basketball team.

• His mother, Julie Parrish died on August 25, 2008 from cancer of the brain.

• Allen seems to be gaining his weight back, looking stronger and healthier than before. He eats four meals a day now, plus snacks.

• Allen continues to work for Mr. and Mrs. Sato (Ginko's parents) at their family restaurant as a buss boy. Ginko's parents have become his second parents in a way, ever since he started working for them shortly after his mother died.

• Allen has quit smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. He no longer feels a need to.
