Kamakura Kamakura is the large peninisula at the bottom of the Tokyo bay area. The shoreline contains a series of beaches along the Japanese gulf, including: Zaimokuza Beach, Yuigahama Beach, Inamuragasaki Beach, and Koshigoe Beach. The ride from downtown Tokyo is about a half hour or less by train. The Yokosuka train line lets off with a 5-10 minute walk to the Koshigoe Beach area. There is pay parking available for cars. The other beaches increase in distance. The area is proliferated with restaurants, stores, hotels, and various street venders. It's nothing near the busy streets of downtown, but it is still quite packed with small businesses. The actual channel itself represents the "board walk" area of the Koshigoe Beach, meaning the businesses closes to the actual beach, and the beach itself. Please keep in mind this is a very large channel area, and you will not be able to interact from the businesses with people on the beach. Think of it as two channels in one, rather than just one small area. If you would like to role-play on one of the other beaches, then feel free to use praxis and specify in the topic. |

During the day time the beaches are often packed with people, especially on the weekend. During the nights, the boardwalk is active, while the beaches themselves are often relatively empty and private. The only exception to this is the weekend nights during the summer time, when beach parties are a more regular event. |
