This Himeji Castle, otherwise called "Shirasagijo" (White Heron Castle), is situated in the town of Okutama on the outskirts of the Tokyo metropolitan area. It has been about 370 years since Himeji Castle was constructed in its present shape. This is the only castle in excellent condition which architecturally represents Japanese culture. It has been passed through many hands throughout time, but for the past 150 years the castle has remained in the same family's care. In recent years that family line has thinned and the castle was passed on to a different family line. The castle remains private family property to this day, but is often referred to as a national treasure. Information amongst Kindred society:
Himeji Castle is known to be property of the prominent line of werewolves on Tokyo. The werewolf priscus, Arkady Fyodor, is known to live there himself. This property is considered off limites to all Kindred without prior permission. Information amongst Uratha society:

Himeji Castle is 6 stories tall and contains 5 levels of space in which people may live. Other than the standard amenities of bedrooms, living rooms, commons rooms and baths, It has a large central garden, an outdoor bath running from a hot spring, a small temple area and a tea house that are accessible by the castle residents. Other private areas also exist that are kept exclusive to the main family. |
