Getting Started

There are two separate parts to registration: Web Based Registration and IRC Based Registration. In order to play a character on this server both must be done.

Website Registration

To register on the Website, click "Register" at the top of the menu bar to the left. Please note, using a @hotmail.com address seems to have bugs, so please register with a non-hotmail email address so that you get your validation email. The instructions should be pretty self explanatory. if you already have an account on the forum, you do not need to register again. Just log in with your forum name.

Once you have registered on the web, you should still be logged in. If you do not make your character in the same sitting, please make sure you are logged in first. To make a new character, go to the menu bar on the left and select "Create". Make sure to read over the creation rules; we expect you understand them before making a sheet. Fill out the sheet fully, trying not to leave any blanks and then you may click submit. This will send the sheet to the storytellers to look over.

However, Original Sin is not a forum game, play by e-mail, or website game. You must have the ability to connect to IRC to play with us, and you must connect to irc, join #help and talk to an ST to formally get approved for play.

When you are finished with your sheet, click on the submit button and let an ST know you have sent in a sheet for approval. Once you click submit, you will no longer be able to edit the sheet. You will be limited to a box known as "Editable Details", so make sure the sheet is finished. We can not open it back up for you to edit after this. If anything needs to be edited an ST will have to do it. The best we can do is delete the sheet and let you start over, so be careful that you have completely filled in the entire sheet. Also, keep in mind there is not a save for later option, so either make your sheet somewhere else and copy it over, or set aside enough time to finish it. If something happens where you need to save a sheet mid way through the process of making it, please add a note on the sheet in the Editable Details or Experience Spends box explaining that it is not ready for approval.

IRC Registration

Once signed on to the IRC server, type /list and then select the #help channel from the Channels window.
