Inferno: The Possessed Creation Rules Possessed characters are restricted as of January 2010.
Starting Experience All Possessed characters start out with an additional 35 experience points. You can divide that xp up any way you like with a few exceptions.
Character Age You may write characters of any age (above 18) that you like with the following exceptions:* characters over 100 are restricted.
Character Background All characters are required to write a short background regardless of age. The minimum requirement for characters is one paragraph for life before becoming Possessed, a paragraph with details about their possession (why and how), and a paragraph about their life after possession. However, if the character has been possessed for more than 50 years, an extra paragraph per decade is required. Bans and Restrictions Very few things are going to be banned or restricted, but several aspects of the game have been edited slightly to work better in general or with this setting. You can see a complete list of those changes here. Restricted: All Familiar merits are restricted.
Other creation notes Please write a paragraph detailing the possessing demon and put it in the Miscellaneous Information box on the character sheet. This is required and must get approved; this will inform us on how you plan on running the demon side of the character, and the interaction between the demon and the host. If we find later this is not being followed, we may dock experience and, in extreme cases, cause us to remove the character. Also, please write up Vices and their totals, and Investments in the Miscellaneous Information box on the character sheet. Do not put them in expanded merits or the background or anywhere else.
